La Pedrera, Spain

Designed by Antoni Gaudí
Built from 1906-1912
Located in Barcelona, Spain
Public building
Antoni's last civil work
I chose this building because it has a very unique design. I really like the strange shape and adobe look. It looks like something out of a Dr. Seuss movie with a very cartoonish look.

Habitat 67, Canada

Designed by Moshe Safdie

Located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada
Private apartments
Pavilion for the World Expo in 1967

Krzywy Domek, Poland

Designed by Szotynscy and Zaleski
Built in 2004
Located in Sopot, Poland

1. a) I think this statement makes a good point about our environments today

2. Some of these places are creepy but make for good photography

3. Its probably really boring and dull sitting in a booth like that all day

4. My favorite photo has racks full of bouncy balls all over the walls and ceiling

This picture is very well lit considering it is at a nighttime football game. The I really like how it is focused on one main cheerleader in action but you can see the rest of her teammates still. I also like the mood you get from this photo it is very fun and lighthearted.

My favorite photo of the entire paper is the Speak up, Stand up one on page B8.

If you were a photographer on staff, which event/photo assignment would you have liked to do for this issue? You will need to look through the entire paper and see the topics covered and decide which one you think would have been fun.

I would have liked to do the Women's March because capturing history would be so cool and also i'd be there anyways so it would be convenient.

Overall, how would you rate the photography in this issue? What were the strong points and weak points, write 2-3 sentences.

Overall I think this issue would be a 7 because there were a lot of average photos some really good neat photos and a couple of boring but not bad ones. I think this was overall a balanced issue. Some week points were depth of field in classroom photos and some high points were the women's march and yo-yo photos.
