Phobia Preview

A phobia is a fear of something such as heights and spiders. Here are a couple:

Acrophobia: fear of heights
Ballistaphobia: fear of missiles
Achluophobia: fear of the dark
Batrachophobia: fear of amphibians
Aeronausiphobia: fear of air sickness

For this photo shoot I plan to capture a fear of heights. I could photograph my feet dangling from a high place such as a roof or tree. I would also try to capture a fear of the dark. I could snap a picture of a door open to a dark room. For my third phobia I would like to capture fear of spiders. I could get a nice close up shot of a scary looking spider. I can use viewpoint and lighting to enhance the photos.

My Holiday Break

For Christmas my family went to go visit my Grandma and extended family on my mom's side. It was memorable because it may be the last time that our whole family is together for the holidays. I didn't make any resolutions for 2017 because I knew there was no chance of me keeping them. I am looking forward to seeing Donald Trump carry out his first year as president. I wonder if he'll get impeached or not.

I picked this picture because everyone is so into the cock fight and it looks like no one notices the camera is there.


I liked this picture because it shows the patriotism that some people have and that they're not afraid to stand up for their rights.

Best Song of 2016

The best song of 2016 was probably Closer by The Chainsmokers. This was not my favorite song but everybody knew it and was listening to it for a good month. It was the most streamed song on Spotify in several countries including the US and was the most downloaded song on iTunes for a while.

Best Movie of 2016

The best movie of 2016 was Finding Dory. Normally sequels are never as good as the original but in this case it was amazing. It was a very well thought out production with likable characters and a well thought out plot.

Most Important News Story of 2016

The Zika virus was one of the most important news stories this year because it is coming a big problem. There was one baby born in the US with a deformed skull and brain and it blew up in the news. This could be a future problem as well so it is a very important story.

Most Important Person of 2016

In my opinion, person of the year should go to Beyonce. After her amazing Super Bowl performance she released a powerful second visual album and went on tour. She also spoke out on racial injustice and feminism.

Biggest Sports Story of 2016

The biggest sports story of 2016 was the Chicago Cubs winning the World Series. This was huge because they had not won in 108 years and haven't even been in it in 68 years. This could be the only Cubs World Series win in many of peoples lifetime.
